Today, our kindergarten was filled with light and joy as we celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights!  At IBELKG, we believe in nurturing global citizens by introducing our students to a wide range of cultural traditions. Alongside local celebrations such as Mid-Autumn Festival, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Ching Ming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Easter, we also explore international festivals like Diwali to broaden our children’s understanding of the world. Through these celebrations, our students learn to appreciate different cultures and values; building empathy, curiosity and respect from a young age. Happy Diwali Everyone!

 Happy Birthday to Our October Stars! We had a joyful celebration filled with laughter and music to celebrate our October-born students!  Wishing each of them a year full of happiness, growth and wonderful adventures ahead! 

Our K3 children visited 東華三院羅裕積小學 TWGHs Lo Yu Chik Primary School along with some of their parents, getting ready for the next big step—primary school selection!  A heartfelt thank you to TWGHs Lo Yu Chik Primary School for specially organising this meaningful experience for our kindergarten students and their families. Your warm welcome and thoughtful arrangements truly helped our families prepare for this important transition!

 Thank you to the 賽馬會幼童健齒計劃 Jockey Club Children Oral Health Project!  We were delighted to welcome the HKU Faculty of Dentistry 香港大學牙醫學院 team back to our campus for dental check-ups. Each student received a simple report for parents, helping families stay informed about their child’s oral health. We are happy to see that most of our students have healthy teeth — though a few did have cavities, reminding us how important regular care is! Parents if you are reading this, please remember to assist your child with brushing their teeth daily…

One Day Little Barista Starbucks Hong Kong Last Friday, it was a magical day at “IBELKG Starbucks” as our little ones became mini baristas!  With bright smiles, they welcomed “customers”, served drinks and treats and tidied up — all while learning about politeness, hygiene and teamwork. Thanks to the volunteers and supportive parents, the students had a blast turning play into learning. Each of them received a special gift set generously provided by Starbucks, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with delectable treats. Huge thanks to Starbucks for making this day unforgettable for our IBELKG students and families!

Our KG students celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival in the sweetest way — by making their very own Snow Skin Mooncakes! Their little hands and big smiles made the day extra special.Wishing all our families a joyful and bright Mid-Autumn Festival!

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration on Campus!  With the Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner, we were delighted to celebrate this meaningful tradition with a special event hosted by Sino Caring Friends right here on our KG campus!  Families came together to enjoy a day full of festive fun and cultural appreciation — from archery games, voting for their favourite Mid-Autumn items, dressing up in traditional costumes, to making their very own lanterns. It was a wonderful opportunity to instill a love and appreciation for Chinese culture while creating joyful memories with loved ones.

Today, our little explorers set off for the Green Education and Resource Centre to embark on a wonderful nature discovery journey!  The children observed a variety of plants, interesting seeds and beautiful insects with curious eyes and full of amazement. Throughout the process, they used their eyes to see, their noses to smell and experienced the charm of nature in every way!This valuable outdoor learning experience allowed the children to connect classroom knowledge with the real world. While learning, they also planted the seed of environmental protection in their hearts. 

 【September Birthday Party｜Crazy Hat Day & Musical Storytelling Performance】Today’s birthday party was full of creativity, joy and musical magic!Our little ones wore imaginative hats to celebrate together in a fun and festive atmosphere.We were also delighted to welcome ＂Our Music Wonderland＂, who performed a captivating musical storytelling session. Through music, the children explored different instruments and experienced the beauty of sound and storytelling. Everyone was completely immersed in the performance, as if transported into a musical wonderland.
