Six-Colour Building Blocks Parent Workshop

Parents had the chance to relax, unwind and learn practical tips for parent-child interaction through fun and creative play. They explored how building blocks can spark children’s creativity, boost problem-solving skills and encourage self-directed learning. The best part? Every parent went home with their very own box of LEGO to continue the fun and learning at home!  We are sure all parents who participated truly appreciated these workshops that we provide completely free of charge and exclsuively for them — because supporting our IBELKG families is at the heart of what we do and knowing that at the end of the day it is our IBELKG students whom would also be benefiting from this.  A big thank you to all the parents who joined us and made this workshop so enjoyable. Your smiles and laughter filled the room!

Autumn Picnic

We started bright and early with an energizing morning exercise for parents and students—what a refreshing way to kick things off!    Then came the fun: three exciting group games that had everyone cheering and bonding. Afterward, we asked parents which game they loved most and the clear winner was “Who Is Your Child?” 尋親記!  Was this your favourite too? Share your thoughts in the comments! Our creative workshops were a big hit: Kite Making – Families designed colourful kites and watched them soar across the autumn sky. Lip Balm Making – A hands-on activity where everyone crafted their own natural lip balms to take home.    Seeing so many happy faces and shared moments was priceless. Visit to Hong Kong Space Museum

Today, our IBELKG students ventured beyond the classroom and soared into the universe!   At the Hong Kong Space Museum, the children and their parents enthusiastically explored various fascinating topics, such as the daily life of astronauts in the space capsule, the zero-gravity environment in space, different types of rockets, celestial bodies in the universe, and our home planet, Earth. It was truly inspiring to see the children’s interest in science ignited through hands-on observation and immersive experiences. In addition to the space exploration, today also included a special experience—purchasing MTR tickets and taking the MTR. With the widespread use of Octopus cards, how long has it been since you last bought a physical ticket? We are very grateful to the MTR staff for their guidance and assistance in helping our parents and children navigate the ticket purchase process.
